Everyone of us has one thing in common - we will all die. But when someone whom we love dies, we are often at a loss, expected to make immediate and sound decisions on a wide range of matters affecting our lives and those close to us for years to come. Weakened by grief, exposed and vulnerable, we need guidance to help us find answers to the often difficult questions that face us. What do I do now? is a thoughtful and practical resource guide designed to assist survivors and families in making the transition to recovery after the death of a loved one. It provides practical information on matters such as pensions, life and health insurance, and funeral arrangements, as well as emotional and supportive guidance for bereaved parents and children coping with the stresses of their loss. Whatever your personal circumstances, there will be something helpful in What do I do now? to help alleviate the weight of grief. I congratulate the Colchester Bereavement Support Group for its commendable initiative in writing such a valuable and needed resource tool, and for its ongoing commitment to the service of others.
