Grief Share is an ongoing weekly support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. It's a place to be around people who understand what you are feeling. At Grief Share, you'll learn valuable information about recovering from your grief and renewing your hope in the future. Meet Wednesday evenings. For more information call: "Healing and Hope" is a 7 week grief and bereavement program that is offered on a regular basis by the Cumberland County Palliative Care Program. It is open to all Cumberland County residents, who believe that they will benefit from the support of others as they deal with the loss of a loved one. Grief is a normal and natural reaction to the death of a loved one. The "Healing and Hope: program will not cure grief, but it is designed to add some focus to grief work. It is hoped that participants will gain a greater sense of hope, strength and renewal.
