READING RESOURCES

When looking for resources that may be of help, don't forget books. Your local library will likely have a good selection of literature on grief, bereavement and loss. Other places to contact for literature, pamphlets and other written resources include: Family Resource Centre Library, your doctor's office, the Hospital Library, Canadian Mental Health Association, Mental Health and Public Health offices and/or workers and the social work department of your local hospital may have suggestions as well. Remember that reading can provide relief, ideas and support for you, at your own pace.

Other great resources now can also be found on the web. There are many sites devoted to bereavement issues. As always when dealing with the web, it is important to remember safety and not provide personal information to strangers on the net.
