Statement:
The Objectives of the Children's Aid Society of Cape Breton - Victoria are:
- To ensure a healthy and positive environment for children by providing safety from emotional, sexual and physical harm by working with individual children, their families and communities.
- To provide a high standard alternative for children and continuity of substitute parental care and relationships for those children who cannot remain at home.
- To develop by itself or in partnership with others, counseling and adoption services.
- To promote prevention programs which encourage healthy and positive relationships among children and their families within the community.
- To advocate and take leadership in developing solutions to child and family issues.
The Children's Aid Society of Cape Breton - Victoria
strives to provide these services in a climate of dignity, integrity and respect for cultural differences.
