Who can we help?

• Children from birth to 6 years of age who need extra support, or who have a disability
  
  
• Parents and family members who want support and information to assist them in the overall development of their child

Regular visits are made to the family home where parents and staff work out a program of activities designed to meet their child's special needs.

Family members are also provided with information, resources; and support opportunities to assist in meeting their needs as they relate to the child.

Other services available:

• Weekly parent/tot sessions
• Summer drop in services
• Resource and toy lending library
• Parent information sessions
• Parent/tot swim program

What is expected of parents?

Through Allkids Early Intervention, parents become active partners with the home program and staff and other service providers. As a team, they develop a plan based on what is most important to the family.

• Families who participate develop social supports with other families sharing similar concerns
• Families enhance their parenting abilities and well-being.

How can we be reached?

Referral to the program may come from parents, doctors, community health personnel, and others.
Referral cannot made without parental consent.
