King's Meadow is a licensed group home for 10 mentally challenged adults. It was formed in 1969 by a group of parents looking for alternative care for their children. Residents have a day program in the community, and are actively involved in household activities:
  • Cooking
  • Cleaning
  • Making Lunches

All residents also participate in these daily living activities:
  • Budgeting
  • Banking
  • Social Skills
  • Counselling
  • Vocational Awareness
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Leisure Counselling
Admission Requirements:
  1. Ambultory
  2. Must be accepted in a vocational day program
  3. Must be partially self-sufficient
