WHAT WE DO

We provide vocational and life skills training to adult residents of Annapolis and Kings Counties who have mental, emotional, or physical disability.

The centre, established in 1977, is situated on Hwy #1 in Paradise, NS between Lawrencetown and Bridgetown.

Our Goal:

We strive to provide employment opportunities and training for our employees through in-centre work and a community employment program. Along with vocational training, life skills and functional academic instruction are also provided.

Community Supportive Employment

It is our goal to have as many as possible of our employees with disability work in the community alongside their non-disabled counterparts. Currently we have ten participants working in local businesses including two restaurants, a supermarket, a seniors' complex, a residential centre, a local veterinary clinic, and housekeeping for private individuals.
