    Junior Volunteer Program for Youth

In the Junior Volunteer Program for Youth ages 14-18 yrs. Youth are required to give a 2 hour a week commitment. This is an excellent program for both residents and youth and a great learning experience. The residents enjoy the young people; they enjoy learning about schooldays now and about interests outside in the community. Youth transfer residents to and from meals, visit, read, play games, run errands for nursing and walk residents inside and out.
The Junior Volunteer Program for Youth was adopted from WKM hospital when they closed with the female youth even wearing the candy stripper uniform.
