Management - Staff The overall management of the Centre is overseen by a Board of Directors or Council, made up largely of parents whose children attend the Centre. This provides the desired and necessary parental involvement in the programme. Operation of the Centre is administered by the Director and Assisant Director. Five Early Childhood educators along with a cook implement the Centre's program. The staff are encouraged to continually upgrade their knowledge and skills by attending seminars and workshops and maintain current CPR certification and emergency first aid training. In addition, the Centre is involved with several educational facilitites in providing practical on the job experience and training to students of Early Childhood education and other courses. These students and other volunteers besides assisting the staff also broaden the children's community awareness.
